I was born 1957 in Borlänge and I have painted since the early days of my youth.

I'm working in the area of Surrealist Automatism and my technique is mainly acrylic oil painting.

In my youth I had the opportunity to have two of the best artists from Borlänge as teachers; Hans Tollsten and Sigge Rosén.

One thing in common for the both artists was that they preferred outdoor painting, i.e. to sit outside and paint the sceneries live. Often I participated on those occasions and in that way I started to comprehend the basics of painting.

Since the middle of the nineties I'm a full-time artist.

It's also important for me to exercise with model drawing, self-portraits and still lifes.
